Thiokol Propulsion's CASTOR 120® solid rocket motor powers the Taurus™ launch vehicle past 150,000 feet in altitude, and then separates after 1 1/2 minutes of flight. Orbital Sciences Corporation selected the CASTOR 120 motor for their Taurus launch vehicle.
